Happy Mother's Day! We got to talk to Taylor!

Happy day after Mother’s Day!!! aka- the two best holidays in the mission. Well, I'm going to be honest. I had a little melt down because I couldn't see your faces. It didn't feel FAIR, so naturally- I knelt down and prayed. I felt much better as I did, because I was able to feel my good about hearing your voices and although I couldn't see the braces, weight loss, or gum surgeries- I felt at peace knowing that I have AN AWESOME family that was willing to wait on my call and at least you all got to see me! I know that I will see your faces soon enough and how much sweeter my return will be to get to embrace you all again.

I will apologize for any broken English- I can't see to talk straight in Spanish or English. Speaking of that- how was my Spanish? Christa, or Aaron or Jon? Could you understand me? I kinda mumbled and rambled on cuz I didn't want you to catch my mistakes- but Morgan seemed impressed- so hey! Haha! Well, my companion had success- she saw her family, but she used a different program. It's called face time and i-pad or apple users can access it. I was using an i-pad. I guess i-pads have them... we could have used Mom's. Ha! Oh well! How about at Christmas- Morgan just brings her computer!? Yeah? Lesson learned. Well, I guess it was just technical issues! Seriously though- made my day! And I got to see Morgie’s pretty face- so I guess I’m good!

Real quick: well done Gretta and Jon on the weight loss! I’m a proud hermana! So happy! Also, Jon- I forgot to tell you- WHEN DID you all get an apple tv? I didn't know they made those? Crazy stuff. Technology these days! Oh and I loved the little name tag you put on the picture. Yes, I noticed! Brenton: I’m looking forward to that prom picture :)

Alright- I forgot to tell you so much, but I just liked hearing you all talk to me. :) Thanks for the LOVE and support like always. Mom- a special thanks for the sweet sweater! I CAN'T BELIEVE you got it for a penny- super DEAL! And I love my shoes. I've been wearing them almost every day! I get lots of compliments too.

So we have these annoying parrots. They pooped all over our clean car last Monday. We had just cleaned it! Frustrating! I had this green bean egg stuff- and I love it! I know it sounds sooo weird- but I LOVE IT!

We made this lady- Ada's day by visiting her! And she cried when we told her we saw her name on the list and felt like we needed to see her. She was so HAPPY. I love her. She hasn't been to church cuz she is super sick. I love her though. She came to the Mother's Day party we had on Friday. We had tres leches cake :) I learned POPOROPO! That’s how you say popcorn- cool right? We met a Latino Justin Bieber. He is so precious! hmm... I told you that funny song already, “Mama's havin' a baby,” hmm.

At the convalescent center, we met a new worker named Cliff. He said- you can call me BROTHER CLIFF! Haha, he was great. At first he thought I was a surgeon though. He was like what kind of doctor are you? A surgeon? I think it was cuz I was wearing the turquoise sweater Mom gave me! He was like yeah, you can be a BRAIN surgeon! - Pretty funny. So yeah we had a good week!

I love you and think and pray about you all- always. I love this work- and I am constantly being humbled and put into the refiner's fire. So one day I can be as polished as a bright new piece of (....) (insert- something fancy) hah! I don’t know, but I pray that I can be what God and Christ want me to be, and I learn this ALL the time :).
